My work incorporates recycled, repurposed and reused materials.  I am a visionary who looks at broken chairs and old doors and sees sculpture and handcrafted remade furniture.

Thank you for visiting.  Enjoy and come back often!

Why do I make things? I could say that if I didn?t make art that I might be a criminal, a drone passing out volleyballs, or a bean-counting number cruncher. I could be a junkie, a thief, a whore...a starving, suffering artist living through his art or in spite of it. That all may be true; but I have six stories and here is one....

"I grew up thinking that the Museum of Natural History in New York City was an art museum.  I was enthralled by the dioramas of western America, the incredible models of Indian fishing traps, and the big blue whale hanging from the ceiling."

Although now relocated to Savannah, living in the Hudson Valley was an inspiration to me for nearly 50 years as an artist, sculptor and designer.  We lived not quite two hours from NYC, so when I needed that hyper urban fix..... Having grown up on Long Island and always being at the beach, then on the Rondout Creek and Hudson River, and now near the Savannah River and Tybee Island, it nourishes and rejuvenates.  In Kingston, NY we lived in a somewhat urban environment surrounded by countryside, a community of artists and NYC ex-pats, a multi-cultural, working class neighborhood that dates back to the 1800's when the river traffic bustled. Now in Savannah, I look forward to connecting with the arts community and enjoying the fabulous opportunities
here.
